MEMBERSHIPS & PERMIT:

Bed & Breakfast Mountain View officially holds a Bed & Breakfast Permit from the County of Hawaii.
Bed & Breakfast Mountain View is a member of the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau.
Bed & Breakfast Mountain View is a member of the Better Business Bureau.

RESERVATIONS:
• Rooms are secured by first-night deposit and can be made via Visa or Mastercard. The balance will be paid upon check-in/arrival via Visa, Mastercard, traveler's check or cash.

• All Reservations Require a 2-night Minimum Stay. For a 1-night stay, a $20.00 fee will be added per room.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

From December to May: Deposits can be refundable 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date.
From June to November: Deposits can be refundable 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date.
Cancellations made less than one week of arrival date is subject to full charge.
Merrie Monarch: Due to the popularity of the annual Merrie Monarch festival in Hilo, reservations at that time require a minimum of a 3 night-stay, full payment upon reservation and no cancellation refund.

CHECK-IN TIME:
Open check-in time is between 4:00pm - 6:00pm. If guests will be checking-in at a later time, please make prior arrangements with the hosts. Please notify us your arrival time at least one day ahead. Thank you for your cooperation.

CHECK-OUT TIME:
The check-out time is 11:00 am.

RESTRICTIONS:

To make a pleasant stay for everyone, guests are only allowed to smoke on the outdoor patio or any outside areas.
Children 5 years and older are welcome.

Bed & Breakfast Mountain View Rates and Policy

New Policy	All Reservations Require a 2-night Minimum Stay. For 1-night stay, a $20.00 fee will be added per room.

Room	(Please note: New Tax rate of 13.42% effective January 1, 2010)
Cherry Blossom	$110 per night for 1 or 2 persons, plus 13.42% tax. $125 per night for 3 people, plus 13.42% tax.

Heliconia	$90 per night for 1 or 2 persons, plus 13.42% tax.

Lehua	$90 per night for 1 or 2 persons, plus 13.42% tax.

Plumeria	$90 per night for 1 or 2 persons, plus 13.42% tax.
	An extra bed can be added to any room with an additional $15 per night.
Special Group Rate	Special Price: Lehua & Plumeria rooms reserved together (shared bath): $150 per night for both rooms, sleeps 2-4 people, plus 13.42% tax An extra bed can be added to any room with an additional $15 per night.
